In 2013 Plug-In NCW worked with charger hosts to “electrify” Hwy 20 over North Cascades Pass, and coordinated a media event of travel writers driving Nissan Leaf EVs around the Cascade Loop and writing about their experience.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE BASICS

While about 90% of EV charging is done overnight at home. Public charging stations are needed while traveling. Currently, there are 22 Plug-In NCW charging stations at host locations throughout North Central Washington. The PlugShare.com website and smartphone app can help you find all charging stations in NCW and around WA state.
